Our faculty was established by the
decision of the Council of Ministers, dated 14/05/2012 and numbered 2012/3209,
published in the Official Gazette, dated 23 June 2012 and numbered 28332, and
started education by accepting 40 students with an additional quota for the
Theology Program in the 2013-2014 academic year.
Between 2012 and 2022, it carried out
its educational and academic activities in the Necatibey Faculty of Education
B-Block building.
Our faculty moved to the “New Faculty
of Theology Building” completed in October 2022 at Balıkesir University's Çağış
Campus and began continuing its education, teaching, and academic activities in
this building for its undergraduate and graduate programs.
